Nurses in Action: A Positive Impact

ROLE OF THE ORDER OF NURSES IN LEBANON Facilitate to students all needed contacts and permits to shoot scenes in hospitals/venues and interviews with members of the nursing staff Provide technical and professional advising related to the nursing profession such as providing data and other materials needed for interviews and other resources and interviews with nurse experts or patient families ect.

OWNERSHIP The productions will be owned by the Order of Nurses and used for their campaign with no time limitations.

COPYRIGHT The student(s) can claim their copyright issues according to relevant national and international standards which includes music and sound effects used in the work, etc. The student(s) have to respect and guarantee the rights of the third parties (e.g. informants, nurses, families) who are profiled in the film. The participant unconditionally and irrevocably declares his/her copyright responsibility towards third parties in case of disputes / copyright violations. The Order of Nurses in Lebanon is exempt from all claims by third party players. The participant will secure authorization of third parties appearing in the film on the use of their image and will not secure right such as financial compensation or otherwise from the Order of Nurses in Lebanon. TECHNICAL DETAILS FOR CONCEPT NOTES / SCENARIO / STORYBOARD Submit 2 copies of the Concept Notes / Scenario / Storyboard. One that is anonymous for the jury Language of choice is Arabic

TECHNICAL DETAILS FOR PRODUCTIONS Submit 3 DVD Language of choice is Arabic and subtitles for the hearing impaired persons (Optional)

OTHER TECHNICAL INFORMATION First phase Jury to review anonymously concept notes / scenario / storyboard Shortlisted candidates announced on March 12th. Selected students will start filming Second phase Jury to select the best production per category. Winners will be announced on April 25th.

WINNERS Award winners will: Be invited to TV/radio interviews Get a recognition certificate from the Order of Nurses in Lebanon

Their Production will be: Used for the Order of Nurses Communication Campaign before, during and after the International Nurses Day Celebration on May 12, 2014 Promoted in potential local film festivals Posted on the social media channels and on the website of the Order of Nurses in Lebanon Played on the internal channels of hospitals and any other potential venue all over Lebanon and schools in Lebanon Promoted on TV channels
