All projects, regardless of approach, will result in a 15 20 page paper (exclusive of a title page, abstract, references, and appendices). Also, all options and topics MUST be approved by the instructor. Moreover, there will be several phases of the final project to ensure that youre on the ri ght track and to make the project more manageable. All options may be drafted considering local, regional and or national elements or talents. It is suggested to select a person or a company/ institution that agree to serve as a study site for this project. In both academia and industry, you have opportunities to collaborate with others. To that end, you may elect to work with one and no more than two other class members on your final project. If you elect to work with a peer, it is expected that your paper will be 20 pages in length. Make certain that you follow the instructions and the rubric format provided. Points will be deducted for not following directions. Late submissions will not be accepted, so plan your time carefully. Phase 1: Option & Topic Selection (01-27) In this phase, you will select one of the four options (A, B, C, D) and then propose a minimum of two choices for study. In this phase, you will also detail your research strategies of how you are going to get all the information data (e.g. interviews with stakeholders, working with someone within a company, etc.). I will review these, provide comments and make suggestions for your final topic selection. You may wish to include questions and or comments section when you submit this phase. Tasks Final Project Option(s) IdentifiedMaximum of two options proposed (i.e., product & person) Two detailed reasons of why would be beneficial/you would like to develop an IMC for your object of study. Three research strategies of how you are going to get the base line information. Explain why such strategies are appropriate. *Phase 3: Completed Introduction & IMC Program Outline (03-17) Phase 3 will result in a complete introduction and outline for the remainder of your project. In the outline, you will (a) introduce the subject of study where you embed the subject within other relevant findings, (b) explain the significance of the project (e.g., this IMC program would impact in X area) and (c) complete the Preliminary analysis. You will then draft an outline for the remainder of the project that identifies main sections (Promotion Mix elements) and sub-sections (Objectives, Strategies, messages, and media along with bullets detailing the supporting information. You also need to include a section describing how your strategies are going to be integrated and implemented, as well the resources and tools for future Monitoring, evaluation and control of the IMC Program. This will be approximately 7-10 pages in length. Tasks Student has a complete introduction: introduce the subject of study where you embed the subject within other relevant findings, (b) explain the significance of the project (e.g., this IMC program would impact in X area) and (c) complete the Preliminary analysis. Student has outlined the remainder of the paper: Paper headings and subheads are identified, supporting information and or quotations are included. Student has included a section describing how the subject of study strategies are going to be integrated and implemented. Points __________/ 1.2 points
