I Translation. Low water solubility of many active substances is a significant problem in pharmaceutical industry.

Substances with good permeability, low solubility and velocity in physiological liquids are a longstanding limiting factor for absorption. In spite of this, these drugs show good biological availability in the most cases that is explained, according to many authors, by a positive influence of auxiliary substances on the solubility of active substance. In order to chec this hypothesis the series of testing were undergone for determining the substance solubility and velocity of solubility in microni!ed powder, granulates and commercial tablets. The results obtained by testing powder sample were lower than those on the solubility balance of nimesulid, indicating that is inappropriate to use the device for testing solubility velocity to determine lipophilic substance solubility.
