Collaborative planning

It was easier for them to design, implement and manage the MOOC as a group, instead of as individuals, because each convenor brought different strengths to the MOOC

This made the MOOC more manageable to one convenor who expressed relief, I didnt have to do everything. I also didnt have to know everything about everything.

Implementation The biggest theme that emerged [...] about the implementation of the MOOC was the multiple technologies or virtual spaces used for interactions (with participants and among participants)

The convenors choice and use of the virtual spaces depended on their own familiarity and comfort level with the technology used
