Please take your copy. Offering placed on the communion rail next Sunday, during Holy Communion, is used to help those in need in our church and the community. Sunday Theme for March 2nd - White Sunday - The following items are needed: heavy duty plastic forks & spoons, 55 gallon trash can liners, decaf coffee & toilet paper. Children's Home - On Saturday, March 15th, our District has been invited to the Annual Day on Campus at the Florida United Methodist Children's Home. This is our opportunity to tour the campus, speak to the volunteers, and see how our financial and prayerful support is being utilized. The day will begin at 9am and will conclude with lunch on the campus at noon. I highly encourage anyone who is interested to attend. If you would like to carpool, please contact the church office and let us know so we can coordinate it. Lay Servant Ministry Orientation - New Requirements - There will be a North Central District meeting with Lynn Campbell, the FL Conference Lay Director, on March 1, 2014 at St. Marks UMC, 10:30-12:30. This meeting is open to all Lay Servants/Speakers and anyone interested in the Lay Servant ministry. There are new requirements for Lay Speakers, so Lynn is coming to give us information and an opportunity for us to ask her questions.
