The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom Proverbs 1:7 America is not very wise. The once-great envy of the world is looking more impotent everyday. Skyrocketing deficits, education system in crisis, policeman of the world, open borders, fiat currency, tolerance, diversity, decadence, moral relativity, multiculturalism, and Iranian nukes those are just some of the issues we face here. An unknown woman once queried Benjamin Franklin, "Mr. Franklin, what kind of government have you given us?" "A Republic, madam," Franklin quickly answered. "If you can keep it." The ever-expanding Muslim world is on fire. Enraged by a cartoon that disrespected their god, Islamists have taken to the streets to avenge the honor of the one they serve.

How can they get so bent out of shape over a cartoon? a friend of mine naively said. Heck, people make fun of God all of the time in America and nobody gets upset. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools. Romans 1:22. The world no longer fears America because America no longer fears God. Americas commitment to God is so shallow. We pray to Him, ask Him to Bless America, and even put his name on our coins. But we really dont take Him seriously, and we certainly dont serve Him. Unfortunately, for us, our enemies take their god very seriously. They fly planes into towers for him. They blow themselves up to honor him. They are committed to a world where their god is the one, exclusive, god of the universe. But Americas God is tolerant, and diverse, and all loving, right? Does anybody ever really fear their Grandpa? Thats it, you see! The Islamic world sees their god as the great avenger. We see ours as Grandpa! They see him as one who hates sin. We see Him as one who tolerates it. Yes, we have lost our fear of God. No wonder we look so foolish! Have you seen a copy of the cartoon that has enraged the world? Neither have I. Isnt that strange? Could it be that the media is afraid to show the world the cartoon? Why hasnt the New York Times or CNN run a copy of it? How Come NBC was not afraid to run The Book of Daniel? The media knows what we most church goers are afraid to admit. They know that Muslims take their god seriously, and the last thing the media wants to do is make this peaceful" religion angry. Theyve seen the mobs in the streets. We surely dont want that in multi-cultural America, now do we? We dont want to show the other face of the religion of peace. See Does Islam Promote Peace? (Scroll Halfway Down Page) So lets be nice. Lets not offend. Lets not do or say anything that will disrespect their religion. Americans are tolerant, diverse and secular, they have Christian values, dont you know? When will the Christian Church awaken? There is a cottage industry made up of those who disrespect the Christian God. We kill His unborn children, throw Him out of public view, educate Him out of the minds of our children, pay to submerge His image in urine, dishonor our vows, and publicly take His Name in vain. Also See Our Country Our Children The response of the Christian Church is to pray for more blessings. We could learn a thing or two from the Muslims. At least they are smart enough to fear their god. What if Christians felt the duty to defend the One we are to serve? What if we made a determination that we would no longer permit the Name Above All Names to be disrespected in America? What if we demanded that Christ be honored in our schools, in our government, and in our homes? What if we took to the streets in defense of the One who defended us? What if we were, once again, wise enough to fear His Name? But that wouldnt be very Christian, would it? That might anger some folks, might offend those who worship at the altar of diversity, might cause a split in the Church, might make some take stock of what they really worship. Islam is on the march. They are committed and defiant. When will the American Church peek out of the

window of their stained-glass fortresses and acknowledge the wolf at the door? Muslims hate sin. Christians tolerate it. Muslims serve their god. The Christians' God serves them. Muslims punish their view of evil. Christian-America celebrates evil, markets evil, cozies up to evil. Muslims revere their god. Christians compartmentalize theirs. Recently, I have come to a startling Truth. People will serve whatever they fear. Thats why torture is so effective. The fear of pain convinces one to compromise. If I speak out, it could cost me my job! Yep. You serve what you fear. America is in trouble. We fear the wrong things. The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso put his trust in the Lord shall be safe. Proverbs 29:25 The American culture fears those who fear Allah. They do not fear those who fear Jehovah. Follow this logic. The world no longer fears America because the American culture no longer fears the Christian Church because the Christian Church no longer fears God. Our Christian president, the leader of Christian-America, proudly calls Islam a noble religion, and claims we serve the same god. Exodus 20 4:7 You shall not make for yourself an idol, or any likeness of what is in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the water under the earth. You shall not worship them or serve them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, to the third and fourth generation to those who hate Me, but showing loving kindness to thousands, to those who love Me and keep my commandments. You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not leave him unpunished who takes His name in vain. Christians please, be afraid. Jehovah is jealous. Be very afraid.
