Heres a list of 10 towns that have been getting attention for boasting some of the fastest growth in Australia. Its important to remember that fast growth in the past does not equal fast growth in the future. As property investors we need to look at population trends and other data that will lead us to the next hot spot. This info is provided as a starting point for your own due diligence and research. Its important to remember that property markets fluctuate and change over time. All investments are subject to risk. You must do your own research. TUNCURRY NSW
With Tuncurry on the NSW Central Coast offering Median house prices in April 2012 of between $370,000 and $604,000 in March of 2013 investors in Tuncurry have received great growth of up to 46%.
HIGHGATE WA
Highgate is a suburb close to Perth in Western Australia. Investors have seen substantial growth over the last 12 months with median house prices growing by up to 43%.
KARRATHA WA
Karratha is a town in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. It has been growing fast due to Rio Tintos iron ore and North Wests Natural gas projects. Median house pricing grew from $635,000 - $925,000 and there were increases of up to 36.4%.
BLACKWATER QLD
Blackwater in central QLD, 74kms from Emerald is a major mining town, with 6 open cut coalmines in the surrounding area. With current median house pricing at $458,000 - $550,000 properties in Blackwater have grown up to 33.05% in the last year.

NEWMAN WA
Newman is a modern mining town 1100 kms north of Perth, with Mt Whaleback mine being the worlds single biggest open-cut iron ore mine and BHPs single largest project. The growth in this area has been strong, up to17-29% over the last 12 months and median sales prices of homes in Newman have risen to $815,000.
BURWOOD NSW
A suburb of the inner west of Sydney, Burwood properties have enjoyed strong growth with the median house pricing growing by up to 26.72%.
BROOME WA
This town of Broome on the North West coast of Australia is a place of interest, with investors receiving growth of up to 16.7%
