Our training programs put you at the controls with the knowledge you need to succeed. We offer programs that meet the requirements of both the United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and international Joint Aviation Authority/ European Aviation Safety Agency (JAA/EASA). Universal Training Combined FAA/JAA Program Provides complete European certication by combining JAA/EASA CPL(H) training with elements from the FAA Professional Pilot Program. Duration: 12-14 months FAA Professional Pilot Includes Private Pilot, Instrument Rating, Commercial Pilot, Certied Flight Instructor (CFI), CFI-Instrument (CFII) and External Load. Duration: 9-11 months Military Training Prepares pilots for military missions with focused ight training and specialized skills, including Primary, Transition, Instrument, NVG and Mission Planning. Duration: 7 months Combined Civilian/Military Training FAA or JAA/EASA qualications attained in conjunction with Military Training elements. FAA Training FAA Private Pilot Prepares student to pilot a helicopter under a variety of conditions. Duration: 12 weeks FAA Instrument Rating Certies student to y in restricted visibility situations. Duration: 8 weeks FAA Commercial Pilot Certies student to work as a professional helicopter pilot. (Private Pilot Certicate or higher required) Duration: 3 months External Load Instructs certied pilot in the methods and techniques of carrying a load outside the helicopter, including safe long-line operations. Duration: 3 weeks FAA Certied Flight Instructor (CFI) Prepares certied FAA Commercial Pilots for CFI examinations. Duration: 8 weeks JAA/EASA Training JAA/EASA PPL(H) Prepares student to pilot a helicopter as a private pilot under a variety of conditions. Duration: 8-10 weeks JAA/EASA FI(H) Prepares JAA CPL(H) certied pilots to instruct pilots in JAA/ EASA member countries. Duration: 6 weeks (3 weeks for ICAO CFI(H) holders) JAA/EASA CPL(H) Provides training needed for the JAA/EASA Commercial Pilot license. Duration: 48 weeks JAA/EASA IR(H) Certies student to y in instrument meteorological conditions. Duration: 8 weeks (4 weeks for ICAO IR(H) holders) JAA/EASA Type Rating Trains JAA/EASA PPL or CPL holders to pilot specic helicopter types (including Sikorsky 300 CBi, Robinson R22, Robinson R44, Bell 206 JetRanger and Eurocopter AS355). Duration: 1 week per rating type
