PROPOSED ALTERATIONS AND ADDITIONS (RELOCATION OF EXISTING ORA) TO EXISTING 1ST STOREY AT RIVERSIDE POINT

TENDER - SCOPE OF WORKS

1.To install composite timber decking (as specified BASE & OPTION TENDER) and 4 nos of square bar stainless steel railings (in non-directional hairline finish), as per architects specs and drawings, for proposed ORA areas; 2. To submit method statement if any hacking works required and to include hacking works at existing steps for timber decking installation, if required, to achieve the leveling as stated in the tender drawings at proposed ORA areas. 3. To include erection of hoarding to segregate the construction site with promenade and existing ORA area abutting to the building, during construction. 4. To include PEs endorsement for the installation for composite timber decking. 5. To make good of all the interfacing installation works (existing steps to proposed composite timber decking); to include touch-up works to existing planters (2nos of planters each block East & West) and to repair all associated works affected. 6. Actual measurements to be verified on site; Shopdrawings (incl. proposed installation details, i.e. steel support to higher platform, etc) to be approved by architect before any commencement of works; 7. Contractor to take note on the authorities requirement stated in the tender drawings, i.e. clearance of 6M width for hardstanding from the edge of proposed composite timber decking to the edge of existing bollards, as indicated on drawings; 8. To submit specification and samples of composite timber for Architects selection/ approval prior to any procurement of material; 9. To include mock-up for composite timber deck installation: a. Depth of any of the proposed ORA (i.e. one-piece timber plank length) x 1.5m; b. Termination edge of proposed composite timber decking/ detail treatment to exposed edges/ termination to existing planters.
