PREFACE
Its a matter of great pleasure and privilege for me that I have got a much related topic A Study on Life Insurance for my summer training project and in one of the most prestigious organization- TATA AIG, ALIGARH. This is a report which is a mirror of my sweet and bitter experience during the course of the project conducted for partial fulfillment of my Post graduation program i.e. Master of Business Administration (MBA). Every study is incomplete without having a well plan and concrete exposure to the student. Management studies are not exceptions. Scope of the work at this level is very ranging. The study of management only with theoretical knowledge is just like a wondering ship in the ocean without a compass so at the side it provides sound basis to adopt the theoretical knowledge and on the other hand it gives opportunity for exposure to real market situation it gives him the base practical experience which serve him as a compass in the directionless ship, this enables the ship to reach its destination against all odds from all of its rivals Theoretical and practical knowledge are complimentary to each other. Manager should have sound conceptual knowledge, which is the basic foundation for successful Management practices. Management students have good conceptual understanding but practical knowledge of business activities is somewhat inadequate. I am really very much benefited by this live project.
