Dear Parents, WELCOME BACK! Welcome back after the half term break, I hope you all had a much needed and restful break! EXPECTING STAFF! I would like to ask you to join me in offering my congratulations to both Miss Gema Adams (Y6) and Mrs Jenna Noblett (Y2) who are expecting babies! Both expectant mothers will be taking their maternity leave in June, we would like to let all our parents receive good notice of these changes. The school is making plans to ensure that the best possible cover is in place for this event. Mrs Southgate will continue to take her Gorilla Class full time in Mrs Nobletts absence to allow the children a smooth end to the term. We are presently in the process of selecting a teacher to replace Miss Adams for the end of the summer term. PTA MEETING WEDNESDAY 12

John Doyle from Lostock Hall Academy would like to join us on Thursdays after school to lead a band. Children who have been learning how to play a brass instrument in year 4 will be our first members and I would love to see lots of interest from our year 4 children if they wish to enhance their musical ability. It would be lovely to see this band flourish and grow as we move into next year and gradually take on children from the next year 4. Please let the school office know if your child wishes to take part in this new club.
