Caffeine Friend or Foe?

Thesis Statement: Caffeine found in chocolates, coffees, soft drinks, and teas, which has been known for its benefits can be addictive drug with regular intake that can lead to physical and mental problems. Introduction Despite the advantages given by caffeine for many generations, it has also bad effects that risks the lives of many people from engaging with this substance. The primary aim of this study is to inform the people regarding the possible outcome of taking caffeinated foods. In addition, the researcher tried his best to collect facts, data and other information from the library and the internet as the source. I. Caffeine A. Definition B. Conclusion Basically, taking caffeine for once cannot directly affect the health condition of a person. Since it has been part to the lives of many, it is not easy for them to instantly abstain from being a devotee to delicious and refreshing foods containing caffeine. Therefore, to avoid the tendency to become caffeine dependent, minimizing the intake of those foods and reducing it gradually can help a person to live his life easily.

Introduction

Caffeine produced by many plants species has been part of the lives of many individuals since Stone Age. Foods such as chocolates, coffees, teas, and soft drinks are contained with caffeine. As a stimulant drug, it gives health benefits. It causes increased wakefulness, speed intellectual processes, and enhances sensory activities. However, using it regularly can lead to addiction that that results to insomnia, irritability, confusion, anxiety, hunger and other physical and mental problems. This paper focuses and limits on the harmful effects of caffeine to ones physical and mental conditions in spite of its health benefits. This study aims to give information to the readers as well as to warn them against the tendency of being caffeine addict which is usually neglected by some people. Pieces of information are taken from the library sources such as books, magazines, encyclopedia, and other reading text which served as the primary sources of the paper and the internet.
