A large multinational main contractor client of mine requires Senior Engineers with major Civil project experience for a multi billion dollar section of the MTR development. Reporting into to the Project Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for other engineers working in your team. These are key positions and an essential part of the project management team. As such, you will have access to engineers, technical support and resources and in return you will be pivotal in galvanizing these elements into a high performing technical advisory. Your key responsibilities will be to interpret the constructability of design, support the superintendents and supervisors through construction, plan schedules of tunnelling activities, write method statements, monitor the project progress against the masterplan providing progress reports. You will contribute significantly to safety, quality and cost control for the project. Essential skills and experience: Stable work history on projects from inception to completion Civil Engineering Tertiary Qualification Excellent written and verbal communication and motivational skills Must have worked on major civil/tunnel projects for the main/principal contractor. The desire to relocate to Hong Kong Ideal candidates would have worked in SE Asia previously and hold professional memberships although these are not essential.
