Gardner English 10H 0* 10 February 2014 Registered Reflection While trying to find the perfect career, I came along many different careers. In www.cacareerzone.org, I found very interesting careers. It was very difficult to decide what career I was going to choose. My top five choices were Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Hospitalists, Pathologists, Allergists and Immunologists, and a Registered Nurse. In the end, I decided to become a Registered Nurse because I found it to be an absolute amazing job. Registered Nurses, or RNs, care for the sick, old, and disabled; however, they also talk to other healthy people and give presentations to prevent them from making bad health decisions. I did not really know what a Registered Nurse was until I saw it on the California Career Zone website. I had heard about Registered Nurses, but I did not specifically know what they did. However, in the end, I decided to choose to become a Registered Nurse because it seemed to be the most interesting career. I really enjoyed looking at all the possible careers I could have chosen. There was such a variety; yet, I found all of them very interesting. I love to do many different things and so it was very difficult to choose one career that I was going to write my life about. I really enjoyed looking at all the possible careers I could have chosen.

Cruz 2 I really wanted to pick the perfect job. I have always thought about going into the a health career and this activity persuaded me to go into the medical field. I also wanted a job that would pay well so I could support my family. Not only are those to factors important, but also my enjoyment of my new career. I want to wake up every morning and go to work content. I also love to help others and I found that being a Registered Nurse gave me that opportunity. While looking for a university, I discovered the Concordia University Irvine and a great nursing program. On their website, I found Charlene Spencer, part of the Nursing Program at Concordia University Irvine. The website had her contact information so I decided to call her. Mrs. Spencer did not answer the phone, so I decided to leave a polite message and leave my contact information. She had not called me, so I decided to email her as well. in the email, I left my name and explained my interest in becoming a Registered Nurse. Mrs. Spencer still yet has to reply, but I am really hoping to get a response soon so I can have an idea of what it is like to be a Registered Nurse. From this activity I have learned many things. I have learned some things about myself and who I want to become. I have also learned to never give up. Although I have not gotten a response so far, I am positive I will get one eventually. If not, I will politely and respectfully send her another, and possibly contact other people. I will not give up until I get information about the career I am truly interested in.
