The Tamil Nadu Retired Officials Association in their representation cited have requested to prescribe an option form and also an application format for the retired employees to apply for the benefits stipulated in the Government Order cited on the analogy of the earlier orders issued in G.O.No.200, Finance (Pay Cell) Department, dated 18.05.1999. The request of the association has been examined by the Government and the same has been accepted. Accordingly, I am to request the Heads of Department / Heads of offices to distribute the option form and the form of application to the employees retired between 01.06.1988 and 31.12.1995 along with list of pay scales as appended to this letter enabling them to apply for the benefits stipulated in the Government Order cited.
