SPARK LEARN INNOVATE ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Inspired by the success of the AIF Clinton Fellowship Program* that has sent over 300 college graduates to India, AIF is proud to launch the AIF Youth Ambassador Program (AYAP), a service-learning and cultural awareness program in India for U.S. highschool students. Youth Ambassadors are exposed to economic, social, and environmental challenges facing vulnerable communities and will explore frugally innovative, local solutions to these challenges. AYAP seeks to foster an awareness of social development in India through visits with local communities, Indian peers & schools, leading NGOs, and the private sector. Youth Ambassadors will engage with Indian peers to build relationships and work together to come up with solutions to local problems. AYAP envisions igniting the spark in high school students to set them on a path towards global citizenship. AYAP seeks to develop leadership and entrepreneurship skills as well as global awareness for participants. AYAP will also enable opportunities for continued collaboration with AIF, its programs and communities served.
