Minutes of Meeting

First Meeting 06/03/2014 Meeting was called to order at 6.30 at Right Horizons Corporate office for discussing about importance of MENTORSHIP PROGRAM. Attendees Present: o Timir Palan (Presenter) o Ritesh Kumar Patro Absent: o S Madhu Vijay o Yash Gupta o KR Soumitri Thirunarayan o Gaurav Mathur An initiative taken by Mr. Timir Palan, Business Analyst at Right Horizons, to make us corporate ready & provide some practical knowledge of finance - which shall be helpful for us during the placements. Minutes: Meeting started with briefing about the objective of this kind of programs. Objectives: o As we know companies wants those people who are corporate ready from day one. They don't want to invest money and time to train them as per the requirement. o Get closure to expectation of the industries o Take it across to the batch and make them expert o Make us work on some current real-time cases for research purpose.

Then we discuss about the process to carry forward this whole initiative. Process: o Sir will mentor and guide us but his participation will be passive one. He will stay behind and make us work on and discuss in forthcoming meetings. o There would be regular monitoring & evaluation of students, if over a period of time it is found that a student is not showing the level of interest or dedication, he will be dropped from the mentorship program. o He won't review individuals task which has given for research. We will discuss regarding the tasks and about what we learnt in the consecutive meetings.

Then we discussed about the upcoming meeting and how will it be happen. Every time new person from the group will take responsibility to co-ordinate & fix up the meeting time. Meeting will be held in any of the weekdays and after business hours.

Then sir has assigned some research tasks for this week. And task details are mentioned below.

TASK 1: If you have taken study Loan, so what will be its EMI and time period? Make a Loan amortization table in Ms-Excel showing EMI. Sustainable Income you expecting after Study. Make out a excel table showing Different salary package where include your expenses, savings, investments. Ex: Income is 3lakh (How much you are paying for loans, House rent expense and in the month end how much you left behind after all these operations.)Same for different salary packages.

TASK 2: List of investment avenues in India. Risk categories of that investment. Who should invest in those categories? Idle Portfolio allocation model for (High, Moderate or low Risk clients). For those investment avenues.

TASK 3: Research on whether one should take up an Adhar Card or Not. For now next meeting will be on Friday 14th March 2014 at 6.30pm (can be changed).
