DR&)INGS 5ver' Tender shall return the set of detailed drawing enclosed with Tender, dul' signed. 6owever, the successful tender would be supplied two sets of drawings free of cost, but subse3uent prints will be charged ;s.0/8+ per unit. 11. S&M(2ES The samples for feasible item8accessor'8fixture, re3uired for 7ire suppression works, shall be made8procured as per instruction, and submitted for the approval of the rchitect. The approved samples shall be kept and preserved on site at all times. ll procurement thereafter shall be based on these approved samples and the contractor will be re3uired to perform all work under this Contract in accordance with these approved samples. The rchitect reserves the right to modif'8alter an' details8material. The contractors shall not be paid an' extra amount on this account.

E5TR& ITEMS #ercentage of !verhead and #rofits in respect of extra items will be based on the basic cost of materials, taxes, cartage, labour etc. and 0(F shall be paid towards overheads and contractor?s profit. Suppl' and installation of extra items, if an', re3uired shall be sub$ect to prior approval of its rate and make b' the 5mplo'er8Consultant.

&DDEND&/CORRIGEND& ddenda8Corrigenda to the T5.@5; documents ma' be issued prior to the date of opening of the T5.@5; to clarif' or to the effect modification in the design of C!.T; CT terms. The Tender shall suitabl' take into consideration such addenda8corrigenda while submitting this T5.@5;. 5ach addenda8corrigenda will be issued in triplicate. The Tender will return the duplicate cop' of the addenda8corrigenda dul' signed in confirmation of its documents and retain the third cop' for his reference stamped on each page b' the Tender and shall become part of the T5.@5; documents.

(ROC6RMENT O, M&TERI&2S The 3uantities set out in the <!Q?s are estimated 3uantities for the work, and the' are not to be taken as actual or correct 3uantities of the work to be executed b' the Contractor in fulfilment of his obligations under the Contract. The Contractor shall procure the materials based on his own assessment of this re3uirement at site, for timel' execution of work. The contractor shall not be paid an' extra amount for excess materials thus brought to the site, conse3uent of an' miss understanding8 calculation on the part of the Contractor. 1*. VIRT6&2 COM(2ETION The Contractor shall hand over the S-T5 to the 5)#A!H5; after completing all works as envisaged in the !.CT; CT and additions8 deletions therein. The works shall be deemed to have been virtuall' completed onl' after all defects in material 3ualit' and workmanship etc. occurring before the date of handover to the emplo'er, have been satisfactoril' set right. The certificate of =irtual Completion shall not be issued nor shall the work be considered complete till the Contractor has removed from the premises on which the work has been executed and its surroundings, all scaffolding, sheds, surplus materials "except such which are re3uired for rectification of defects if an'% rubbish and debris, and cleaned the floors, commissioned all electrical points, oiled locks and fastenings, and handed them over to the !wner or his representative and made the whole installation fit for immediate use, to the complete satisfaction of the rchitect. 12. DR&)INGB INSTR6CTIONSB ME&S6RMENTS ll work shall be done according to the drawings and instructions of the rchitect8his authorities representative and the Contractor shall arrange to test materials and 8or portions of the works at his own cost in order to prove their soundness and sufficienc'. -f after an' such test and in the opinion of the rchitect8his authorised ;epresentative, an' work or portion of work is found to be defective or unsound, the Contractor shall pull down and re+execute the same at his own cost. @efective materials shall be removed from the site within one week of receipt to of instruction for the same.

The pipes shall be plugged preferabl' with standard design plugs or with rubber plugs on both sides, the upper end shall, however, be connected to a pipe for filling with water and getting the re3uired head poured at one time.
