ACT/PLAN Vertical Alignment- We are doing warm-ups 2-3 times each week. We can now incorporate Gradpoint to do ACT practice. Course Content/Common Assessment Results/Growth Data-Snead will develop a spreadsheet with units and standards for students to individually chart growth each unit. He will share with the other Algebra II teachers. Constructed Response Questions - We are all including constructed response in assessments and homework explanations assignments. Honors Portfolios- we discussed last week at the meeting for 2nd period in Snyders room. We will revisit later this week.

Actions to take for these students o Katie Holcomb has not been to school since we took the test. o Emma McKeel stayed after school and got remediation. We did test corrections after the remediation session. Where am I on my pacing guide? o I am a few days behind. I am going to combine a few topics to get back on pace. What do I need to re-teach? How did I chart growth this week? o I displayed the class average and pass percentage on the wall. We then had a discussion about what each percentage meant. Absence/tardy data o Destiny Charleton has 12 absences, but is transferring schools. o No tardies in this class. Discipline referrals o Referrals have been written for Jarod Shaw and Andrew Hyman. Scott Morris and Jamie Conner are on the verge of getting referrals for cell phone use and behavior. How have students charted their growth this week? Students chart their growth through discussion with the teacher about class and individual grades. They also write explanations to show their knowledge and not just their memorization.

Research based strategies I used this week o Review test and activity were used. Cooperative learning was also applied.

Names of students with specific standards not met o Jarod Shaw has did not meet the standards. He missed a couple of days and the Unit Test

Actions to take for these students o Jarod Shaw has not made up the test or stayed to make up work. We have set aside days for him to stay and recieve the extra help and make up test, but he has yet to show for one. o Other students who have missed days have came in to make up work and standards.

Actions to take for these students o I have tried offering after school tutoring, but none of these students show.

Where am I on my pacing guide? What do I need to re-teach? o I am on schedule with my pacing guide. I will need to go back and reteach multiplying and dividing radical expressions, adding and subtracting radical expressions.

Teachers Name: Kessinger Test averages o 3rd period average:82 This was with the use of their explanation sheet. These sheets, they did for homework and were able to use them on the test.

How did I chart growth this week? o I used the chart displayed on the wall with test averages One of my students made a comment that the class grades were moving up and became excited. Absence/tardy data o Ashley Coker has been absent for the past two weeks. No word as to where she may be. Discipline referrals o None How have students charted their growth this week? They are charting their test grades in their notebook.
