High School to ensure every staff member will grow and achieve. Objective A: Build relationships with all staff. Send a letter to all staff to introduce myself. August 2013 Introduce myself to the staff and they know more about me. Based on the teacher conversations, they realize that I am in touch with the classroom and they know I can relate to their day-to-day role as a teacher. I went in and had informal conversations with every teacher. Based on feedback from the teachers, they see me as a human and realize that I have the students and staff interests at heart. The impact of attending all staff meeting has been it has allowed me to share my knowledge of different topics with the staff. Based on staff feedback, they see me as an instructional leader within the school. The impact of doing walkthroughs through the year, allows me to get a snapshot of what is going on in each classroom. My goal is to do 10 walkthroughs per week.

Attending PLC meetings has been beneficial for several reasons. First it allows me to be part of the instructional team and it allows time to work with teachers to improve and implement new strategies.
Objective B: Boost teacher moral Attend staff meetings and provide snacks Sept 2013 June 2014 Attending staff meeting levels the playing field between teachers and admin. I do not ask my teachers to do anything that I am not willing to do myself. Snacks always help improve atmosphere. Teachers appreciate the extra time and it gives them a chance to relax. Feedback rather it be positive or negative, allows teachers to know my thought process. I have found that teachers like feedback just as much as students.
Offer each teacher a duty free day. Provided positive feedback during walkthroughs and observations.

reinforce my expectations. It was a great relationship better between the students and myself. It was fun! Eat lunch with students in the lunchroom. August 2013 June 2014 I do this everyday. It allows students to see me out of my office and it has been a great time to build relationships. This has been another way to build relationships with the students. It gives me an entry point to be able to get through to some students. (talking about game or how they performed)
Objective B: Provide all students with support systems to ensure they learn and achieve. Provide academic support through walk and talk. August 2013 June 2014 Walk and talk support is the first line of defense before a student gets an office referral. It allows the student to get back on track by talking to an AP or counselor. I have found this useful, because it allows the students a chance to refocus and stay in the classroom. Teachers and students like the additional support. It has been great building relationship with parents, teachers and students. This has been helpful for our students in need. We have experienced success in 1st semester growth due to the extra support.
