The Copper Sky Recreation Complex is the sporting, fitness, recreation and leisure destination Maricopa has been

waiting for! Comprised of the Copper Sky Multigenerational/Aquatic Center and Regional Park, this expansive recreational development offers state-of-the-art equipment, grand green spaces and fantastic programs designed to enhance Maricopa residents quality of life. Opening in March of 2014, and conveniently located off of AZ 347 and Bowlin Road, Copper Sky will soon be the destination for sporting events and recreation in Maricopa.

The Copper Sky Multigenerational Center is a 52,000 sq. ft. recreation center where people of all ages can come together. The center offers: Top-of-the-line fitness equipment including a variety of treadmills, elipticals, stationary and spinning bikes Resistance training machines Free-weight area Elevated running/walking track Two aerobics/dance studios Two full-size indoor basketball courts A study room Activity and multi-use program spaces A catering kitchen Residents can rent areas of the facility for birthday parties, anniversaries, luncheons or other special events.

The Copper Sky Aquatic Facility is a fun-filled outdoor, swim and sun oasis. The facility features: An eight-lane, 25-yard lap pool with two 1-meter diving boards A leisure pool with a waterslide, rock-climbing wall and lazy river An interactive splash pad for kids The entire facility is open from Memorial Day to September 14. The lap pool is heated and available for year-round use. Aquatic admission is available daily, seasonally or is included with a Copper Sky Multigenerational Center membership plan.

The Copper Sky Regional Park encompasses 98 acres, offering endless opportunities for fitness, fun and leisure. The park includes: A five-acre fishing lake with bass, rainbow trout, catfish, bluegill and white amur. A special event amphitheater surrounded by 9 acres of lawn Two interactive playgrounds Six shaded ramadas with BBQ grills and picnic tables, plus one 5,000 sq. ft. group ramada A dog park with separate areas for active and timid dogs Eight multi-purpose sports fields (Four are lighted fields) Three lighted baseball/softball fields One full-size lighted baseball field A lighted skate plaza Two lighted tennis courts Two lighted basketball courts Two lighted sand volleyball courts Two regulation horseshoe pits

Aquatic Facility Seasonal and Daily Passes

Passes will go on sale April 14, 2014. Seasonal and Daily Passes will be available for use of the Aquatic Facility from Memorial Day to September 14 and expire at the end of the season.
