I am a young artist passionate about the human figure and the vibrant colors. JS
Jorge Suaret was born in Mexico. Since he was very young he started to experiment various pictorial techniques, from pastel to oil through tempera, encaustic and acrylic paint. Jorge has been devoting his life to Plastic Arts for over nine years now. He has already participated in several exhibitions, painted various murals in Mexico City, and is also art teacher. In 2014, one of his paintings will be exhibited in the National Museum of Arts (MUNAL) of Mexico. His work deals with bodies and colors, his painting expresses his passion for the curves. His references are Kooning and Pollock, and the Mexican painters Tamayo and Orozco. Jorge does not paint with preconception, he prefers let the image evolve on the canvas spontaneously. He likes to play with the tension between colors which are not complementary, through textured paintings thanks to his skillful use of oils.
