SVCT is an institution for child eduction program, cancer awareness and detection program, and rehabilitataion of convicts. In there child education program they provide education fees, books, and uniform to the children of convicts, in there cancer awareness and detection program SVCT holds medical and cancer detection camps for the underprivileged they also organize film shows to demonstrate self examination techniques, exhibition of educational posters on cancer prevention and hazards of tobacco consumption .in there rehabilitation of convicts they facilitate convicts vocational training and help them in getting suitable jobs or setting up their own business enterprise. As the part of my social internship my objective of the project was to understand the current functioning of the SVCT. To understand how an organisation works in the financially and resource constraint environment. How do they manage the cost of functioning, as cost controlling is challenging task, we could learn the various new things to do so. How the employees get motivated and works full of their potential. After understanding the organisation our next objective was to look for different ways in the light of our management and technical knowledge with the help of which its productivity could be improved. We could find certain areas in which we could help like suggesting the new ways of getting funding which svct has not looked upon yet. We helped them in getting sponsorship organizing and marketing of their roadshows .For this we prepared sponsorship letter, sponsorship form and visited various organization and gave the presentations about the svct, and their event and how this can be marketing opportunity for marketing their product. It gave us detailed corporate insight and the practical exposure.
