Life of Pi Essay Why I think its wrong to practice more than one religion? Because if there is a superior leader like Jesus, Ali, God and etc. They would think its wrong. Because if you went to a Mormon church then you believe in things that Ali says then they will treat you different because the things you believe in. Like you might lose your friends because you dont fully put your faith in one religion. Besides mostly every religion has some kind of nirvana, or a paradise of some kind. Like LDS believers have three different levels mostly everyone will be on the 3rd level then so on depends how much faith you have in that religion. But if you barley belief in it you wont be able to get up there. Like in Life of Pi he talks that he believes in: Hinduism, Christianity and Islam. So if he believes in then if Ali. Ali wont give him his 72 virgins when he gets too heaven. So if you have to follow just one religion. An example of ethos is like Jesus he was saying that Christianity is true. And he got resurrected for 3 days so how could someone just come back from the dead? A lot of people cant do that so I think that Jesus is creditable. He said he would come back and he did. An example of logos is When Christians said if you dont put your whole faith into Christianity your going to hell or wont make it too heaven. For pathos I think many people get emotion shouting crying just too defend that its wrong to believe in multiple religions. Or for pathos Jesus said follow me and I promise I will lead you the right way. But I dont insist. I dont mean to defend zoos. Close them all down if you want (and let us hope that what wildlife remains can survive in what is left of the natural world). I know zoos are no longer in peoples good graces. Religion faces the same problem. Certain illusions about freedom plague them both. (1.4.14) I think what hes saying is that religions just make you believe things they might be true but you have faith then youll believe it too and follow what theyre saying. Faith in God is listed as one of the fundamental teachings of Scripture (Hebrews 6:1-2_). In fact Christians are told that with ought faith it is impossible to please him: (Hebrews 11:6). However, Jesus Christ, looking ahead to the end of this present age- our time today-raised a sobering question to his disciples. He asked, When the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth? (Luke 18:8). So another reason why its wrong to practice more religions is because all the wars with religions what if you practice both you would have too chosen a side or they would kill you. What if you were on the winning side and they found out you practiced the religion that lost they will probably kill you or kick you out of their country. Besides you wouldnt know what side too chose so you might just wont to stay with one religion. What if you went to a church and they found about you believing in a different religion. They would kick you out. Or try to change your mind and change you to their religion. Or let you do what you do but they wont show you the same respect as before.

Lets say you believe in Christianity and Judaism. Christianity believes in Jesus Christ. Jews dont believe Jesus is a leader. So they dont believe in Christ. So it wouldnt make since because Jews dont believe in Jesus Christ. While (Christ)ianity believes in him. So those two wouldnt mix because you dont and you do believe in Jesus? So I think that they would both definitely kick you out of there church. Some people tried practicing more than religions and society did not like that and most people said they just became atheists or just didnt care and didnt have a religion. I wanted to say that there is a few good points too practicing more than one religion. What If you just had a little faith in each religion then in the end what if that one was true then you have a chance of doing the right thing. You can just say you didnt know and you were confused. But in conclusion you should not practice more than one religion.
