OUR LIBRARY We welcome parents and children to borrow books from our library and read at home. Parents will need to purchase a library bag from the Nursery. We encourage children to borrow books as often as they like as this enhances their learning and development.

YOUR CHILDS PROGRESS Your child will be assigned a key worker who will be responsible for observing and assessing their progress and development on a daily basis and recording significant steps in their learning and developmental folder. This information will allow you to keep updated with your childs progress, learning, development and activities.

PARENTS AS PARTNERS We understand parental input is invaluable in the work we do and we work closely with parents to provide the very best care for their child, supporting them each step of the way. W e encourage parents to provide feedback on their childs progress that they observe at home.

07

WHAT YOUR CHILD WILL DO AT THE NURSERY Your child will have access to books, toys and will be encouraged to paint and participate in group activities such as story time and singing nursery rhymes that will stimulate their learning development. Activities are designed to be fun, supportive, exciting and educational.

THE CURRICULUM We follow the revised Early Years Foundation stage curriculum. All staff are suitably trained and have up to date knowledge of the framework.

OFSTED Our last Ofsted report graded us as a Good setting. With regular audits and a continuous drive to enhance the high quality of care and education we provide - our aim is to achieve outstanding status during the next Ofsted inspection.
