In todays Gospel the Pharisees hear three testimonies about the
man born blind and, despite the repetition, still refuse to believe
that Jesus performed the miracle by the power of God. Are there
any spiritual repeat messages that you have been ignoring? Spend
some time in prayer seeking the answer.

Mission Trip 2014 to Abilene = Success!

Thank you to all our benefactors, staff, those we
served, and my awesome Mission Trippers for
making our amazing and hilarious adventure
possible. Bl. Mother Teresa said to always let
those who leave your presence be more joyful
than when they first arrived. We laughed and had a great time with
those we served. Little did the people we served know just how
much joy they brought us. Helping our fellow Texans in need is
exactly where God wanted us this year. We brought our Longhorn
Catholic sense of humor, joy, and love of God and neighbor and
left better people with great memories because of those we served.

As a former Catholic high school theology teacher, one night of the
Mission Trip was especially cool for me. Somehow the discussion
came around to Vatican II and Bl. Pope John XXIIII spent over
an hour talking about this monumental Council and the Pope who
summoned it, and yet it seemed that no one had even heard of
these things! In light of this experience, I am happy to announce
that we will all have a fantastic opportunity to check out Mary
Berwicks talk on Bl. John XXIII and Vatican II on
Wednesday, April 9th in the Library!! You dont want to miss
out. Come and find out just who this pope is who is being
canonized with Bl. Pope John Paul II!!

Thanks again & I hope to see yall there!! Remember, my door is
always open for anything you may need. Praise God and Hook em
Horns, yall!!! Easter is on the way!!
