IAS Examination is the most sought for examination in India

When we give esteem and disesteem to someone, then, we usually take them as a member of some explicitly mentioned or contextually salient constituency: as a member of this or that profession or organisation, as a IAS exam preparation of a certain religion or ethnicity, as a citizen of the local country or perhaps just as a human being. And whether we find them estimable or inestimable for the presence of a certain disposition, or the performance of a certain action, is in some part a function of how others in that constituency behave. The point goes through as a matter of definition with positional dimensions of assessment. And it goes through as a plausible observation with non-positional properties of the absolute or sorter kind. Having assessed someone on such dimensions, we give them esteem in a way that is sensitive to their departure from what we take to be the normal performancethe mean, the median, the mode, or whateverin their reference group. Thus the degree of esteem that people earn for being honest, or the degree of disesteem they suffer for being dishonest, is affected by the baseline of normal practice. Consider a community where it is the statistical norm for dog-owners to clean up any mess that their dogs make in public, such cleanliness being an ideal for the people involved. The fact that that is prevailing practice will mean that those who are careless about letting their dogs soil public areas will attract considerable disesteem: certainly more disesteem than they would suffer if their carelessness was fairly typical. Or consider a community where it is the statistical norm for householders not to bother cleaning up rubbish on the pavement or nature strip outside their garden fences, though cleanliness of that kind remains an ideal. In such IAS examination community the person who makes an effort to keep the nearby public space as unlettered as their own gardenassuming this does not look like unproductive follywill almost certainly win a high opinion among those who know of their behavior; that person will tend to do better in the opinion stakes than they would do if every householder behaved in the same way.

On the global level, IT services are generally divided into hardware/software support services, systems integration services, IT consulting services, processing services, IT training and education services, application development and outsourcing services, and network integration and management services. The term "professional services (PS)" in IT does not have one specific definition, as PS might include one or more of the services mentioned above. However, for most of the IT companies, the term "PS" is used to cover two main types of services, which are systems integration and IT consulting. Honesty is an ideal of performance in such a case but, to invoke terminology used later, the standard that determines the degree of esteem forthcoming is almost invariably a function both of that ideal and of the prevailing practice, not of the ideal alone.
