We want to welcome Miss Kathy Dugan to our church Ministry team.

Kathy will fill the position vacated by Virginia Smiths retirement. Kathy has been a member of First Baptist Church since 1985 and resides in Colquitt, Ga. She has been our Sunday School Secretary for many years. WELCOME Kathy! This Sunday evening we will have our Annie Armstrong Offering for North American Missions kick off. Bill Johnson, church planter from Atlanta, Georgia, will be our guest in the evening service. I look forward to not only hearing about what is going on in North American Missions but also a challenge as to how we can be involved here in our own state. Come and hear his presentation. I know that next week starts Spring Break for our county schools. I also realize with the time change, ball season, boating season and travel season upon us, we normally see a drop in both attendance and giving during these critical times of the year. Please remember your commitment to the Lord with your tithes and offerings. Also, dont forget to put just a little bit more in than usual to catch up on the shortfall we are experiencing. I would love to skip this reminder, and could, if you remain faithful in your giving. Thank You, Sydney Harrell for your preaching last Sunday night. It is wonderful to see God moving in our youth and college students. And thank you to our youth and youth leadership for leading in our service last Sunday evening. I cant wait to see what God is going to do this Sunday at First Baptist Church. See you Sunday. Paul We welcome new members By Letter Bob Barnard Martha Barnard 1605 Dogwood

PRAISE TEAM
Our Praise team did a wonderful job leading us in music in both the 8:30 and 11:00 worship services last Sunday. Often, our worship leaders make personal sacrifices to prepare music to share. Trips are delayed, late night rehearsals take time away from family and spouses, not to mention the personal expenses of ordering and purchasing the music and tracks to share. Thanks to Toby Roland, the guitarist in the Praise Team who played flawlessly last week, in spite of the fact that he had to wipe blood from his badly cut finger. Thats commitment!
MARK YOUR CALENDAR VBS WILL BE THE LAST WEEK OF JUNE.

CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR OUR PERSONNEL COMMITTEE AS THEY SEEK OUR NEW YOUTH MINISTER.

Easter Egg Hunt AND Picnic AND Softball Game!

SHOCKWAVE
SHOCKWAVE, our awesome Youth Choir did a great job leading us in worship Sunday night. The testimonies of Ty Jones, Macey Roland, Cole Buchanan and Carah Jones were especially moving. We appreciate our teens and their leaders for making a difference and reaching the world for Christ. (Note: NO SHOCKWAVE MAR 30th.)
