Presentation statement

Univers Plus Foundation was established at the end of 2006 as a necessity in our community,
focusing especially on children diagnosed with autism and their families.
Univers Plus Foundation, a legal entity holding private rights, is primarily focused on offering
material aid to individuals with disabilities and especially those individuals diagnosed on the autistic
spectrm, as well as managing social assistance programs (education, therapy, and recovery).
The foundation’s main objective is to offer social services to autistic children and their families.
In doing so, our foundation is engaged in a scientific collaboration program with the Mifne center for
research, traning and therapy, located in Israel. As part of this program, 5 specialists were trained in
early recovery therapy techniques for autistic children—a European priemiere in the number of
specialists trained by this prestigious and world known center.
Secondary Objectives
• editing informative and education materials to support families affected by autism, as well
as distributing materials about fighting discrimination and achieving social integration for
individuals with disabilities from the autistic spectrum.
• recruiting and training volunteers and partners
• designing social assistance programs eligible for structural funds and applying for aid to
benefit autistic individuals and their families.
• Organizing fundraising campaigns for individuals with disabilities
• Organizing exhibits, seminars, conferences, public debates, workshopts, events that support
the foundation’s objectives.
• Developing programs in partnership with the local and international public authorities.
 Univers Plus Foundation has an active role in events and projects focusing on autistic children
recovery and their social intégration, informing the public about the characteristics of autism and its
various forms.
As acknowledgment of our competence and quality of service, in 2008 our foundation was
recognized by the Labor and social protection Ministry for « the recovery service and psychosocial
integration for autistic children and other disabilities ».
We have been active participants in scientific conferences and present in the media (TLM,
TVM, 1TV Neamt, Actual TV) focusing on autistic children and their families, methods of evaluation
and intervention techniques.
We organize weekly meetings with parents of autistic children, as support groups that focus on
sharing life experiences and affective exchanges between various participants.
The members of Univers Plus foundation vary in age between 15 and 50 years old, are trained
professionals, students, parents and other people interested in helping autistic children, all individuals
who sacrifice from their spare time to offer their warmth to those in need of love.
We are active partners with The General Office for Social Assistance and Child Protection-
Neamt, Piatra Neamt City Hall, Petre Andrei University-Iasi, as well as other NGOs interested in
helping autistic children.
Currently, our foundation is engaged in a program for social assistance, which offers therapy
services to 8 families with autistic children (23 individuals) and professional training to 15 social work
specialists.
We are the organizers of the conference titled “The Mifne Approach, Opportunity Window,”
and event of European significance in the scientific world and research on autism.
