But to get rich I have to get better at serving people. I also have to ma2imi'e my spirituality my love compassion my fitness my health my honesty my relationships my se2uality masculinity3 every area. !his is what I#m called upon to do by 4esus3 to move beyond ego identification3 to move beyond time beyond thinking3 and 5ust to be to breathe. 6nd then to serve.

I remember riding the bus to and from work and school in Denver many years ago reading !homas "erton#s $ife and %oliness &http://am'n.to/(dme)*+, and wanting with all my heart and being to be as a clean window so that all of -od#s light could come through and I would do nothing but %is will. I wanted nothing more than to be the tool of his will. %is servant (../. +omplete surrender to love light radiant Being is high on my list of all-time interests and passions.

%e#s said 7Deny thyself 8 as well as 79esist not evil.8 6nd these suggestions are to get me closer to my soul. +loser to the unlimited radiance and outpouring of my soul. 7Deny thyself8 means to me to cease identifying my self with thought-forms. Instead to 5ust be 5ust breathe. Be seated in the source of love light and Being that we are made of without thought. Deny your false forms 1 that which we normally think of as ourselves 1 and embrace our true Being our one $ove. $ive as love not as thought. :hen we resist evil we bring ourselves to its energy level. By resisting not evil we radiate cleansing sunlight energy and warmth continuously. 4ust as the actual sun shines forth on everything without discriminating without trying to withhold its beneficial rays from anyone or thing we should be like the sun and shine forth our goodness and love indiscriminately. *low. 0ot resist. 7!o offer no resistance to life is to be in a state of grace ease and lightness.8 ; <ckhart !olle

0ow after years of struggle 1 even into the depths of alcoholism &years ago, 1 I#ve figured out that the very best thing I can do for the whole world is

to make the most of myself. I can serve -od and man best by ma2imi'ing myself3 in every area including getting rich.

places. 0ot even a lot of money. If our collective intention would simply shift to accommodate 7the least among us8 and we would give our money outside of our local churches and communities the world will be a changed place very Cuickly. -iving so selflessly and thus aimed at the biggest problems of the world the author says would certainly draw attention to the +hristian church for then +hristians would I0 D<<D be practicing the +hrist-like life. 4esus has also said that I can ask largely for what I want3 that as big as my dreams and aspirations for my soul and the way I want to live my life are all the better. Because 7It is your *ather#s pleasure to give you the kingdom.8 6 passage about -96!I!=D< from one of my favorite books: 7Draw nigh unto -od and %e will draw nigh unto you.8 !hat is a statement of psychological truth. 6nd if your gratitude is strong and constant the reaction in *ormless Substance will be strong and continuous> the movement of the things you want will be always toward you. 0otice the grateful attitude that 4esus took> how %e always seems to be saying 7I thank !hee *ather that !hou hearest me.8 ?ou cannot e2ercise much power without gratitude> for it is gratitude that keeps you connected with @ower. 4esus calls us to the +ommon -ood. 6nd I base my life around that. Ane of the most moving books I#ve ever read is called !he %ole in Aur -ospel &http://am'n.to/(a$<0Bo,. It paints a sad fact-based picture of the state of the world#s poorest people and all the shit they have to deal with on a day to day basis including disease lack of food and water death war rape murder lack of education and general development. ?et it#s inspiring compelling and hopeful too. In a way that I#ve never seen before it demonstrates how the +hristians of the world 1 and all people really 1 can show their love by giving of their money in the right $ike 6ndrew +arnegie said 7I#m going to spend the first part of my life accumulating money and the second part giving it all away.8 6lthough I#m still coming up to it a big part of my life is going to be helping people in 6frica and 6sia and encouraging a worldwide movement I hope of giving our money to e2press our love. I want this giving mentality to be the norm across the world. I know people already give a lot but 5ust a slight shift in our consciousness can produce a more fulfilling e2perience personally and a happier more 5ust and balanced global e2perience. &I#ll be writing more about this here as time goes on., 4esus calls upon us to so love our fellow man that we would get rid of all our stuff and our wealth to help him out.

6ll the more reason to be a rich man3 in soul in heart in relationships in money3 Be and act rich inside and out. $et my love my sun my light touch everyone indiscriminately. 6nd give my all to those in need. Serve in whatever ways I can. !here are ways I haven#t even thought of yet &or that haven#t come to me, in which I will serve my fellow man. :e must love our human family so much that we would give up our things. :e can#t be afraid of losing our material ob5ects or ob5ects of identification. ?et if we were all poor in this economy we wouldn#t be able to help those in need for then we would be in need too. So it is best to have money because money means resources. 6nd it#s best to use money for good. I value good deeds in my heart over money. 3 and I like moneyD "oney is freedom to do anything in this physical world. But all the money in the world isn#t worth shit if you don#t know that it#s what#s in your heart your mind your soul that allows you to <04A? the physical life. !he heart makes the man not the clothes. I often think: It#s not my money. It#s -od#s money. I can#t take it with me. But I can use it for my world community. -od also wants me to be happy so I#ll use money on improving and ma2imi'ing my life but I always keep in mind 4esus#s -reat +ommandment and how "arcus 6urelius is always talking about what#s good for the community is good for the one. It#s always about humanity. I don#t attend church at all. But I love connecting spiritually with people. I want my whole life to be spiritual so daily I read pray/meditate renew myself think harmonious powerful thoughts. <very moment of life is sacred. <very connection with another person is sacred. +oming together with the intention of living a spiritual life of living and giving love as a way of life3 sacred holy. I don#t need church to ma2imi'e my spirituality and oneness with -od. But I do need other people. !he more harmonious we are in the heart and in how much thought-identification we#ve let go then the better we become> the more holy the more sacred> the more we learn> the deeper &or higher if you will, we become. 9ighteousD ?our fellow 4esus lover Drew P.S. :ant to connect with me and work with meE :atch this video to see my scientific blogging strategy that pays BI- dollars &http://yourbrainonyou.com/sCuee'e/E5esus-denyyourself-pdf, and go here to get our magical spiritual relationship going &http://yourbrainonyou.com/partner/,.
