Alpha Omega, which promotes professional excellence and fraternalism among dentists and dental students, selected Mr. Gambold for his efforts to advance global health in partnership with Alpha Omega, and honored him at a dinner gala held in London this week. As the oldest international dental organization, Alpha Omega supports educational and philanthropic initiatives around the world to enhance oral health. The organization represents approximately 5,000 active dentists and dental students worldwide. “It is truly an honor and privilege to become an honorary member of Alpha Omega. Henry Schein is proud of our long-term partnership with Alpha Omega to advance oral health around the world,” said Mr. Gambold. “Henry Schein and Alpha Omega share the belief that public-private partnerships that include health professional associations and industry play an essential role in addressing global health issues.
