So the churches were strengthened in the faith, and they increased in numbers daily.

News and Prayer Letter April 2014 Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! After 6 months of group Bible studies, one on one meetings, and relationship building, we had our first Sunday gathering this past Sunday (see pictures). We know that many of you were praying for this, and we could see those prayers unfold during the course of the evening. We have had several different contacts we were meeting with at various times throughout the week, and we were able to bring them all together. We had 20 who came and shared a meal and then had a time of worship. We were encouraged by how the Lord was working and by the spirit of those who were there. We are already looking forward to this Sunday. Thank you for your prayers, and keep them coming. Relationships opening up We have lived in Brookline for about 10 months now. We knew that when we moved in it would take a while to begin integrating into the community and meeting people. This has proved to be true. Some days you wish things could move faster, but we are convinced that slow growth will ultimately be the best growth here. We pray regularly for relationships to open up, and although it has taken a while the Lord has opened several opportunities. These relationships are developing into friendships and we have had several opportunities to share the Gospel as a result. Our prayer is that in these relationships, we would be able to plant and water the Gospel, and we will wait on God to give the increase. Everyone plays a role A church plant is no different than any established church in one sense everyone plays a role. What God is doing here in Pittsburgh, He is doing through our entire team, even our children. God has used each person to provide encouragement, prayer, service, relationship building, teaching, and wisdom. We are so thankful for our team. Continue to pray for grace and unity as we work together for the advancement of the Gospel. Ministry at Middletown Road Baptist Church On March 30th, we said see you later to our church of 7 years. They are close by so we know we will see them soon, and we look forward to reaching this city together with the Gospel. We had a wonderful send-off and several pastors from our supporting churches spent time ministering to us and the congregation. It is a day we will never forget! Funds for needs provided God has been slowly providing for the list of needs that we have as we move forward. Several individuals have provided as well as some churches. One of our supporting churches sent us a check last month that covered several of these items. We continue to be humbled and amazed at Gods abundant provision. We serve a great God!!! Faithfully serving the Risen King, The Rews
