Enterprise Service (ES) Bundles

In detail

ES bundles are collections of enterprise services (ES) that can be used to extend the functionality of SAP Business Suite

Each ES bundle is delivered as part of an Enhancement Package (EhP) for SAP ERP 6.0 or as a software add-on for other SAP Business Suite solutions (e.g. CRM, SRM, SCM, etc.) Each bundle comes with documented use-cases on how the services can extend and reconfigure processes in a specific business scenario. Each ES bundle includes explanations of the relevant processes, business scenario, and roles involved along with descriptions of business objects and tips on how to implement. The services delivered through ES bundles can be used to create composite applications using SAP NetWeaver Composition Environment as well as non-SAP tools that support Web Services SAP customers and partners can collaborate to suggest new ES bundles and help develop them as part of the ES Community http://esc.sap.com/.

Enterprise Services (ES) Bundle Certification

Integration Certification Got Easier!

ES Bundle Certification (ESOA-BUNDLE 1.0)

Enterprise Services based alternative to the traditional SAP pre-defined scenario based integration certifications Offered at $7000 in Americas and Japan, 5000 in all other locations

How does it work?

Software Solution Provider develops his interface based on the ES Bundle documentation available on ES Wiki

SSP Implements one or more of the use-cases listed within an ES bundle If a suitable use-case is not available, SSP can add a new use-case using the collaboration features of ES Wiki

It should be possible to implement the newly added use-case with the enterprise services available in that ES Bundle

SSP contacts SAP ICC to start the certification process

Certification agreement is signed An SAP ICC consultant is assigned to the certification project

SSP and SAP ICC mutually define test plan to be used during certification testing
