Creativity & Innovation Effectiveness Profile

We all have the opportunity to translate our unique personal perspectives and views of the world into new ideas and concepts that can be potentially useful not only to ourselves, but also to others. Since everyone is capable of engaging in creative and innovative behavior, the skills or competencies to be able to do this should be readily discoverable and common to everyone, in varying strength or degree. The Creativity & Innovation Effectiveness Profile (CIEP) has been designed to assess uniquely identifiable competencies that contribute to effective creativity/innovations skills.

Creative Consciousness
o Examines whether the candidates internal personal drive and level of active interest will allow him to be creative or innovative. Explores the extent to which a candidates natural inquisitiveness and has a strong desire to know how and why as much as possible. Determines the extent to which a candidate can find new and different perspectives to existing problems and issues. Analyzes the extent to which a candidate takes time to carefully reflect on the quality of ideas and support his growth and development. Examines the extent to which a candidate pushes the boundaries to effectively test ideas by applying them to relatively protected environments in which they can be developed. Looks at the extent to which a candidates preparedness to break with tradition to stand alone to pursue an idea, even when others heavily criticize or attack the initiator or its prompter. Explores the extent to which a candidate tenaciously maintain a can-do attitude when breaking new ground or doing something in a different way for the first time.
