Covers 1 Live Originals Japanese Candy Covers 2 Across the Otherside

My first videos, live recordings, have stayed consistently strong, as they had a copious amount of time to gain views before videos were released more frequently. Japanese Candy has reached its peak, and Across the Otherside has already beat many of its records in terms of release. Steady marketing should help to increase viewage of the album.

Views have grown exponentially. As this month is just beginning, there are fewer views than other months. To increase this number, more advertising will be done for Across the Otherside, culminating in a release of live recordings.

Though my first few songs released remain the most popular, recent releases, such as the Viva la Vida cover, continue to gain views. Heavy advertising of Across the Otherside with a combination of new videos will be used to attract more people.

Top Viewed Songs Since January 2014

Viva la Vida gained views very quickly, showing the strength of cover songs. Therefore, more covers should be released. Japanese Candy continued to gain speed in this time period, and Across the Otherside began to thrive as well.

Longer songs, such as When They Fall, and Strawberry Jam keep high audience retention. Also, songs are generally watched more upon release. The average view time usually shrinks after a climax. Songs should be more unique to keep the audience interested.

Most Liked Songs

Songs that are advertised more individually tend to have more likes. Across the Otherside songs have received twice as many likes as Japanese Candy. To achieve more likes, a wider fanbase must be reached, continuously.

Demographics
United States Brazil Mexico Japan Germany United Kingdom Canada South Korea

American viewage continues to dominate other cultures, though Brazil has remained surprisingly popular. The Konayuki cover has kept a Japanese fanbase, and future Japanese covers will appeal to them. Overall, the amount of international traffic seems to be increasing at a healthy level, showing growth.

Music Genres
Classic Rock Soft Rock Ballad Spiritual Pop Punk Conceptual

Classic rock is dominant, though ballads and soft rock are plenty. Not much information can be gathered from these statistics now, though there will be in the future. Modern types of music should be explored more, though.

Across the Otherside Report

Theres Another Side- The toughest song to get the instruments in sync. Also the most edited song, causing slight inconsistencies in the timing. The very first line of vocals took many attempts. Rejection Lane- The first song written and recorded on the album. It was written before Japanese Candys release in June, 2013. It draws heavy influence of punk rock, especially The Clash. Jealousy- A blues style guitar peace. The guitars mode was unsatisfactory, though it was still used. The drumming came out very well. Strawberry Jam- An improve conceptual piece. Each instrument was improvised in a 15 minute session, though only five minutes were captured in the final release. I plan to have an album of conceptual improvisation music in the future. In the Middle- A guitar and vocal only piece. The vocals were highly unstructured. This song was more of a transition to the second half of the album. When They Fall- A song with a more spiritual meaning. It has been met with very positive criticism. Balancing the volume of each instrument was very difficult. Look at Me- A personal favorite of mine on the album. It retains a classic-rock feel, and the pianos additions have been praised. It also has my first written guitar solo. Because You Said I was Alone- My least viewed song, but by far my most advanced. Vocal tapes were layered to add effects on some part. The song was written to be the climax of the album.
