Excellent
Foldable labeled as directed. Definitions, if used, are complete. Examples are given as directed. Drawings are accurate and labeled appropriately. Scientific understanding of concept is clear and on grade level.

Good
Foldable is labeled. Definitions are mostly complete. There are good examples on most of the subjects. Drawings are mostly accurate and labeled. Scientific understanding of concept is adequate.

Fair
At least 1/2 of the assignment was attempted. Some definitions are missing. Examples are not complete. Drawings are incomplete and inconsistently labeled. Scientific understanding of concept shows one or two misconceptions.

Poor
Less than 1/2 of the assignment was attempted and/or complete. Most definitions are missing. Examples are incomplete. Drawings are incomplete and not labeled. Scientific understanding of concept shows more than two misconceptions.

Legibility Is the student's writing legible?

Excellent
All writing is legible and picture is neat. Overall the foldable is neat. It is also folded and cut correctly.

Good
Majority of the writing is legible and most of the pictures are neat.

Fair
Writing is somewhat legible and the assignment is a bit messy.

Poor
Writing is not legible and pictures are not neat. Shows a lack of understanding or carelessness.

Accuracy Did the student recheck the assignment?

Excellent
All of the assignment is correct and neat. Picture is neat. Definitions are accurate and complete.

Good
Most of the assignment (more than 1/2) is complete but the definitions and/or picture is not accurate.

Fair
At least 1/2 of the assignment is correct.

Poor
Less than 1/2 of the assignment is accurate. Pictures or definitions are not accurate.

Requirements Did the student follow the directions given?

Excellent
Goes beyond the requirements of the assignment. Color is added and picture shows detail. Definitions are written in detail.

Good
More than 1/2 of the requirements are met. Shows some color and understanding.

Fair
At least 1/2 of the requirements are met. Pictures are not colorful and lack detail.

Less than 1/2 of the requirements are met. Pictures and/or definitions are missing.

There are no grammatical and/or mechanical mistakes on the foldable.

There are more than 4 grammatical and/or mechanical mistakes on the foldable.
