***Important Information Prayer is important in our daily lives. As we move forward in the rejuvenation of our church we ask for special Intentional and Involved prayer for the Pastor of our church, that the leadership of the church fully support Pastor and become one for the welfare of ILC plus the full commitment of the congregation to care for each other as we begin the work of the call process. Several have asked what can we do to shorten the two year time criterion placed on ILC by the SED to complete the Call Process. Probabilities include: 1) Being able to pay a called pastor for full-time service and benefits. We currently pay Pastor VanOsdol for 80% time and no benefits. The weekly giving requires $3550 to meet the budgeted needs for a Full Time pastor (4/6 giving = $3406 with Avg YTD = $3086). Please note there were five Sundays in March and we had two very generous outside donations. We are paying our bills, but need to prepare financially for our Called FT Pastor. Please continue prayers to meet the financials needs of ILC with a called FT pastor; 2) Pay our tithe to the SED; and 3) Support the Chairpersons of all the Boards by filling positions and continuing active programs with participation.

Following the Divine Service, Pastor Seaman met with the Council. After discussion, a vote was taken to affirm the Communion Statement as currently noted in the weekly bulletin. This also includes trusting the Pastors discretion in admitting people to the Lords Supper. The past seven months have required much prayer and discussion about the direction(s) that ILC chooses to take in the future. We continue to step into our future as we continue to go forth to demonstrate Christian Love for each other and complete the needed tasks to Call a permanent Pastor to ILC & School. May God continue to guide ILC&S and fill us with the Holy Spirit.
