3 OEM Engineer, [OEM Name] and [Cummins/Distributor name] have worked closely together to provide the end customer with a quality installation. Interfaces, requirements, and recommendations have been reviewed using the Cummins Installation Quality Assurance (IQA) process in addition to [OEM Name]s testing process. Attached is the review summary on the [engine model] engine installed in the [OEM Model] machine model. Due to similar designs of [OEM Model 1], [OEM Model 2], and [OEM Model 3], the installation for the [OEM Model Tested] will validate the installation for all models. In summary, the following requires resolution before production: [List issues that require resolution before production] [List issues that require resolution before production] [List issues that require resolution before production] Please provide [OEM Name]'s implementation plan for improving the application to concur with Cummins requirements and recommendations. [OEM Name] is responsible to advise Cummins of any on-going production or engineering changes made to the engine installation that may affect installation concurrence. This review is not intended to be a substitute for prototype performance and durability testing by [OEM Name] of the machine and shall in no way constitute a warranty or other legal obligation of Cummins. Although the engine installation interfaces with various other systems in the machine, there are several factors that a review cannot be expected to address and have not been evaluated unless specifically noted in this report: Component quality, workmanship, assembly practices, and endurance characteristics Acceptability to end users of subjective characteristics such as vibration and noise levels Machine application with regards to performance and type of service This report in no way reflects or assures market availability of the machine reviewed Sincerely, [AE Scanned Signature] [AE Name] OEM Application Engineer Cummins Inc.
