Introduction:
Communication is a process to communicate with one or more friends or colleagues. It is a very important because Communication is important for a leader because he has not only to give instructions to others also he has to perform other tasks or duties .It also means inspiring and gaining commitment from others, and there are steps that can lead to that goal, Communication is an act of gaining understanding and commitment from individuals, in order to learn from others and build an exceptional organization, A leader must be able to communicate effectively. Communication is fruitful if and only if the message sent by the sender is interpreted with same meaning by the receiver. If any kind of disturbance blocks any step of communication, the message will be destroyed. Due to such disturbances, managers in an organization face severe problems. There are many barriers in communication. Language can be a barrier. If the receiver does not understand the language of the sender, it is a barrier. In electronic communications, such as radio or television, static or a weak signal can be a barrier. A bad receiver antenna can be a barrier as well. Emotions can cause people to not be receptive to the words of another person, even if the words are understood. That is a barrier. In short, anything that interferes with a signal sent to a receiver is a barrier to communication. Noise is the term used to refers the barriers to the effective communication. The barriers will reduce productivity within a firm. There are many factors that might cause the failure of successful communication. For example, it depends on the ability of the sender, how much the sender understands of the message they are trying to send. If the sender makes the receiver misunderstanding what he or she is trying to send, then this can be a barrier. Technological breakdowns also raise the barrier such as computer failure, viruses and crashes. Another barrier can be the use of jargon. Jargon is the technical language that is used to speed up communication. However, when non-specialists used jargon, this can cause the communication problems when the managers fail to identify the situations when it is important. If that happens, it will not speed up communication but actually slow down. 1.1. Physical 1.2. Cultural 1.3. Language 1.4. Gender 1.5. Environmental 1.6. Interpersonal

3 Findings:

3.1 Physical barriers 3.1.1. Technical There are many technical problems which create barrier in communication like if there is some problem in your computer, and then you cant to send or receive data or E- mails. Sometime data collapse with another person in the software because software dont check full data and they give incorrect answer like after many days before people fill a form of COA ( Certificate of approval) that person fill this form first time but In the computer of company show this person fill second time first time this people COA is cancelled. It create barrier. 3.1.2 Physical Communication does not consist of words alone. Another set of barriers is caused by your own physical appearance, your audience, or the context of the document or the presentation. Your ideas, however good and however skillfully imparted, are at the mercy of various potential physical barriers. (B.Singh, A.vaid , SS.Zande , Personal communication, January 23-28, 2013) 3.2 Language Barrier 3.2.1 Accent: I found that more people said that there many colleagues who are come from different countries and they have different language and they have problem with that language. Its the problem for the non-native people of that country. They are not mixed with that language, because thats not his mother tongue language. People from different countries have their different accent. Foreign accent barrier people faced at our workplace because people come from different countries and they have different accent. ( B.Singh, A.Vaid ,R.Vaid , SS.Zande , Antonio, January 23-28,2013) 3.2.2 Tone : Some people have tone problem at workplace because some people speak loudly and some speak fast and some people speak slow thats why it is typical to understand At that time they are unable to talk with that person, which makes the barrier between them. 3.3 Gender barriers: In the work place many mans and womans work . some people hesitate to speak with different gender because Some people hesitate while speak with different gender means man communicate with woman or woman communicate with man also hesitate because men and women have a different way of communication and each feels uncomfortable while talking to the other because of the basic differences in communication styles. For example women on average speak around 25000 words a day while this number is around 7000 for men this shows that men are more precise while women like details and when the two communicate, they will get bored.

3.4 Environment: Environment also effect in the communication, like if you are working in a factory and there is loud sound then its very hard to communicate in that situation. For example if you are going for meet some people then you have the good environmental conditions for the good delivery of your speech. The setting in which you try to communicate to a person can play an important role in how effective your communication is. Things such as outside noise or distractions that take away your audience's attention can limit the amount of information he actually retains. Obstacles that remove your direct line of vision with a person or his vision with a visual presentation also can affect the way he retains information. Environment greatly affects communication. 3.5 Cultural Barrier 3.5.1. Tradition Tradition also makes barriers in communication, because every people from different country have their different tradition. People from different countries like to talk with their same tradition people, so sometimes its a barrier in communication. 3.5.2. Language Difference People said that at our workplace people from different countries work there, and they all have their different language. So sometimes it makes barrier in communication. 4 Conclusions: 4.1 Physical Barrier Physical problems like hearing or listening problem due to some disorder in the body. And some sort of noise in the background and no face due to communicating and mainly wrong body language. Communication does not consist of words alone. Another set of barriers is caused by your own physical appearance, your audience, or the context of the document or the presentation. Your ideas, however good and however skillfully imparted, are at the mercy of various potential physical barriers. For writing, there is a whole barrage of possible physical blocks. No matter how well you write it, for example, a document may be illegible for various reasons: jammed or jagged margins, fingerprints or smudges, a faulty type writer ribbon, unclear photocopies, unreadable word-processor printout, water or coffee spots, or messy corrections. 4.2 Language barrier It occurs due to different country people have different way or accent of speaking and even improper knowledge of vocabulary. And the Unaware some typical words and their meaning can create a confusion in a person . Some people faced language barriers at a work place because All language barriers may not have such dire consequences, but

they can contribute to a lack of productivity, mistakes being made or general lack of trust between the employer and workers, all of which could be avoided if communication were clearer. Even if workers can speak English fairly well, the lingo, slang that is commonly used by Americans or is specific to different industries can create difficulties for foreign workers. 4.3 Gender barrier Gender barriers to communication arise because men and women have a different way of communication and each feels uncomfortable while talking to the other because of the basic differences in communication styles. For example women on average speak around 25000 words a day while this number is around 7000 for men this shows that men are more precise while women like details and when the two communicate, they will get bored. Secondly, the speaking function of the brain in men is on the left side but in women it is located in both left and right hemispheres of the brain. This means that women link logic and emotions while talking and men mainly try to relate to logic. As a result of this men will not be able to understand what women have to say and vice versa. 4.4 Environment barrier The setting in which you try to communicate to a person can play an important role in how effective your communication is. Things such as outside noise or distractions that take away your audience's attention can limit the amount of information he actually retains. Obstacles that remove your direct line of vision with a person or his vision with a visual presentation also can affect the way he retains information. Environment greatly affects communication. If you have a meeting in a boardroom or a busy restaurant, the environment can cause distractions, discomfort or monotony. Communicate in an environment that is spacious, comfortable and relevant to what you'll talk about.
