Keep giving you tools to use __________________________ Encourage metacognition by asking questions that require Kenna to think about what she is reading and why to make sure she is comprehending what she reads Practice specific phonics ideas that I have observed Kenna struggling with including identifying long vowels, ay sounds and past/present tense. Find books that will motivate Kenna to read, specifically begging chapter books about horses.

I will also provide manipulatives as needed or show different approaches to solving a problem I will also make sure to remind Kenna to put her best work forward as she turns in papers even if it means it takes her longer to complete an assignment.

To remind you to put your finger on your name __________________________ I will remind Kenna to make good choices with who she lines up so that she is paying attention to what the class is doing and moving I will also stay in the hall as the class goes from recess to the classroom to monitor her and all students walking and I will provide praise when I notice students walking
