CHAPTER V Summary, Conclusion and Recommendations

This chapter shows the summary of significant findings, as well as its conclusions and recommendations that researchers suggest based on the findings and implication on the study. Summary On the basis of the data gathered in relation to the statement of the problem, the following are the significant findings: base on the result of survey that we conducted, base on mood; the guest who already stayed at a them room or a colorful hotel agreed that the room color change their mood, and also they agreed that room color helps them to have in good mood. In terms of emotion; the room color do nothing to change the emotion of the guest, the result state that some of the rooms takes them to felt negative emotion or simply room color help guest to have negative emotion. And base on the comfort of the guest, they agreed that the room colors make them or have them to feel comfortable. The highest number of respondents age is 22-35 years old which has the rate of 35.3%, the 16-21 and 36-44 years old has the rate of 26.47% and the age that has the lowest rate is the 45 years old and above which has 11.76%. The most common respondent of this survey are females which is more than half has the number of twenty and the rate of 58.83% while the male respondent has the number of fourteen and the rate of 41.17%. The respondents also tell what the effect of color on them was, range and passion is for red, prosperity and good luck is on white, stimulating effect is on red, restful and warm is on green, cold is on blue, cheerful is on red, sedative and soothing is on orange, peaceful and tranquil is on white and cooling quality and act sedative is on color blue.

Conclusion On the basis of the above summary of findings in this study, this research came up with the following conclusions: the room color has much effect on the guest who stayed on that room. Room colors have the effect on the mood of the guest, emotion, and comfort. Furthermore, it could be conclude that the color choice of the guest is depending on their age and also the gender of the guest. It also concludes that the effect of room color is also depending on age of the guest because they have the different color choice, teens, adult and others. And also it is also depending on the gender of the guest, the study concludes that male and female have difference in their color choice and also on the effect of color to them. And lastly, this study conclude that the computed value of ANOVA is 1.83, which is not greater than or not beyond the tabular value which is 2.92 in ANOVA, there for 1.83 fell on zero to 2.92, there for this study reject the alternative hypothesis and accept the hypothesis which state that there is no significant difference between the psychological effects of color in guest according to their profile. And on the T-test which has the computed result of 0.03 that is also fell between zero and its tabular value which is 1.64. There for the hypothesis is also accepted and reject the alternative hypothesis. Recommendation The findings of the study as well as the suggestions of the respondents helped the researcher prepare the following recommendations: 1. The study encourage hotel to consider the profile of the respondents when choosing a color or some design for their room because different profile of guest has the different wants style and color of room that theyre needed.

2. And choose a color that can help the guest in terms of their mood, emotion and comfort because it may help hotel to satisfy the guest who stay on a colorful room.
