Alexa Lopez Prof. Stephen Topf English 114B 17th April 2014 Project Space Exercise #1 All throughout history the world has seen world wars, riots and several political movements. All of which have been accused to be the fault of the government. In order to prevent any further destruction from continuing, the government has changed its laws and the way it organizes and controls the nation in order to suit the needs of society. When it comes to the protection and growth of society it is crucial to enforce strategic laws and to maintain and enforce extra surveillances on citizens in the hopes of creating a much safer and well-ordered nation. Without any form of structure in terms of government, society as we know it would collapse and cease to exist due to the lack of knowledge of how to further increase revenue and expand our nation. Due to this a high chancellor was elected due to all the constant terror in society as well as fear that people had. Strength through unity, unity through faith, this is the quote that is believed by the high chancellor. Its posted on walls, buildings and is engraved into countless places so that the nation does not forget that as a nation that sticks together they are powerful. In the early morning hours of November 5th the Bailey Structure was blown up whilst the emergency broadcast system was wired with an unauthorized recording device playing a composed piece of music.

In order to prevent any form of panic to break out as well as any doubts society may have on the efficiency of security, that it was deemed important to cover the sudden terrorist attack with a much happy friendly story so as to not cause a panic until more information is obtained. With an event of a terrorist attack society always looks to its government for answers, without which would only cause mass destruction and mayhem as well and chaos all throughout. With a new threat to the country at hand an increase in the amount of security, surveillance, and laws is necessary. Due to the high chancellor being in control, society has seen an improvement in the amount of crimes, wars and social chaos over the years. However the terrorist continues to lurk around and potentially cause death of citizens rather than just simply building structures. The man responsible for the destruction of the Bailey structure calls himself V, although his identity is unknown to the public, he continues to cause damage to the city. During a regularly broadcast show, the masked man V took control of the Jordan Tower and made an announcement that broadcasted it on every television and screen in the entire nation. He asked for the cooperation and support of everyone, to fight along his side against the unlawful and corrupt government that is oppressing the minds and freedom of it citizens that they once had many years ago. The broadcast of this message has sparked a possible movement against the government and the safety and tranquility that it provides. Obtaining anyone that poses a threat to society is crucial in the hopes of restoring order. Due to current events that have occurred Finger men have been ordered to walk the streets at night to ensure that no one is passed curfew since it may cause them to be put at risk for possible harm. However things only grew more and more chaotic as the year passed on.

As the months followed, a series of murders have begun to spring up. Many of which being party members that have been poisoned to death. With news of the murders society begun to collapse, all over the country more and more individuals are beginning to rebel against the government. Buildings are being vandalized, riots and protest are occurring as well as new illnesses and increases in prices are on the rise. Without a form of government the country could continue to spiral into frenzy and simply continue to plunge deeper and deeper into a bottomless pit of despair and chaos. The need for a form of government is the only hopes of saving and preserving what is left of this nation. With a form of government comes social control, structure as well as tranquility and peace of mind. This is the only way for a society to grow and flourish, with the knowledge that there is a strong, powerful and supportive government. Laws and regulations can always change according to the needs and desires of its citizens. However when society decides to take matters into their own hands it only tends to cause more harm and damage that actual results and improvements. This is why the a strong form of government and social control is crucial for the protection of not simply people but as well as all living things in order to maintain and preserve the freedom that was once had before society started to rebel causing mayhem and destruction.
