Holy Spirit Class - Activating your promises/prophecies in a small group 1.

How do we interact with the Holy Spirit in respect to prophecy? a. We test the prophecy by asking questions. Does the prophetic word align itself with the written Word? Does the word resonate within myself? Would those who are mature and know me well agree that this word confirms who I am or becoming? b. We write the words down and study them regularly. What kind of patterns do we see in these words? Are there key words that are repeated in this prophecy? Does this word affirm or confirm what has been spoken in other prophetic words received before and after this word? Are there promises in these words? What gifts are being released as a result of these prophecies? Are there conditions in these words? Are there commands in these words? Are they requiring something of you? How re these words connected? How do they speak to your giftings? How do they define your kingdom identity? What strategies are described? How do they point to your calling? How do they show a progression for you to grow into? These are all questions that you process with the Holy Spirit. 2. Activation of prophecies. Why do we do this Because God wants to be more than hearers of the word but really doers of the word. IT begins with buying a journal and dialoguing with the Holy Spirit. Take intentional steps to process and grow. My biggest growth began with the journal and praying in the spirit. My growth was great in size but also it was accelerated. c. Reread the highlighted promises in your Bible. Ask the HS which ones should be transferred to this journal. They meant something to you in the past but how does God want reuse then in the present? His Word is eternal and He speaks to the meaning of them in different ways and different times. d. Write down your prophetic words in chronological order with dates, places they occurred, and who gave them if possible. e. Ask the HS how you can activate the gifts spoken over you. Ask Him in what way you can take ownership of the particular blessing or promise that was given. Ask what steps you can take to align your life to the kingdom identity He wants to establish. What are the mandates that the HS would have you act on? 3. Lets remember three simple steps that we partner with God in: f. Proclamation - is what God speaks over you. Confession - is your agreement with His promise, and Declaration - is how I am going to work with the Holy Spirit.

4. You grow by the quality of your confession. Your confession must become an ongoing declaration. Your declaration is what you do in response to your confession. Its an act of faith where you speak out how you intend to partner with the Holy Spirit in becoming that person. Its an ongoing confirmation that turns our identity to destiny.

Holy Spirit Class - Activating your promises/prophecies in a small group

(What would happen if we were in a small group and we spent three months going through each of our promises and prophecies that are in our journals and shared with each other? What if when you shared them with the others they saw patterns or a road map that you yourself did not see? What if at the end of three months we were able to write out a 1 page declaration of what these prophecies say about what your identity is and who you are becoming? What would happen if we gave everyone in the group a copy of each other's declarations? How then could we use them to encourage each other to walk out and grow in this new identity? How many would like to be part of a small group like that? Why would you want to be in that group and what would it do for you? Do you believe it would help you be more intentional to carry out your destiny?)
