Should you be elected, what are three specific areas youd like to change, address, improve or further research,

We've made great strides these past few years on jobs and the economy, but there is still much to do. I will fight
____________________________________________________________________________________
everyday to ensure that the people of Ohio's 76th district have a partner in Columbus looking out for their interests.

We need to continue to reform and streamline the tax code, cut burdensome regulation, and continue our aggressive
____________________________________________________________________________________
push to attract and grow new jobs. I will work with the Governor and my fellow legislators to ensure that only
____________________________________________________________________________________
common sense, pro-growth legislation passes the General Assembly.

Vital to our efforts to grow Ohio's economy, we must focus on preparing our students for the modern workforce. We
___________________________________________________________________________________
must increase our efforts for science, technology, engineering and math education so our students can compete and
___________________________________________________________________________________
succeed in the modern economy. Additionally, we should continue our investment in and expansion of vocational
___________________________________________________________________________________
education. Skilled trades are in high demand, especially in Northeast Ohio, resulting in higher than average earning
____________________________________________________________________________________
potential. I feel strongly that we should retain control over education at the state and local level. We have strong
____________________________________________________________________________________
school boards in our state, and should continue to empower them to meet their local needs.

Finally, we must unify our party behind a positive agenda for moving our state forward if we want to continue our
____________________________________________________________________________________
growth. We need to focus on our core principles - limited government, lower taxes, economic growth, freedom and
____________________________________________________________________________________
liberty. We need to focus on the areas where we agree and can work together to offer a positive vision for Ohio. If we
____________________________________________________________________________________
keep tearing each other apart, we are doing the Democrat's work for them and doing a grave disservice to our
____________________________________________________________________________________
consituents and volunteers. We saw what four years of Democratic governance made in Ohio, and we must remain a
____________________________________________________________________________________
strong, vibrant, positive party if we want to ensure there is no return to the days of stagnation, job loss and economic
____________________________________________________________________________________
decline.

Whether for past accomplishments or future goals, why should voters elect you?

I am humbly asking for the people of Ohio's 76th House district to elect me because I have the principles, temperment
____________________________________________________________________________________
and experience to be an effective legislator and partner. My campaign has been focused on serving my fellow
____________________________________________________________________________________
Northeast Ohioans, not ideological crusades or tearing down my opponents. I believe the constituents and elected
____________________________________________________________________________________
officials throughout the district deserve a partner, advocate and voice in Columbus. We have a wonderful and
____________________________________________________________________________________
decidated representative on the federal level, but our district has not had such representation at the state level for quite
____________________________________________________________________________________
a few years now. I plan to be just that - a representative of the district, not an elected official too aloof to listen to the
____________________________________________________________________________________
concerns of my constituents. Like many throughout the district, I am guided by the conservative principles that make
____________________________________________________________________________________
our party great - limited government, lower taxation, the sanctity of life and the inviolable right to bear arms. Through
____________________________________________________________________________________
my experience in the nonprofit world, I have come to appreciate the solemn responsibility that comes with spending
____________________________________________________________________________________
other people's money. I also understand the real world implications of budget cuts, and the responsibility required
____________________________________________________________________________________
when determining which programs are funded and which are not. Prior to my nonprofit work, I spent nearly six years
____________________________________________________________________________________
working in political advocacy and communications. During that time, I gained an appreciation for the nuances of
____________________________________________________________________________________
legislative and regulatory policies, the challenges of successfully passing legislation, and the critical need to work
____________________________________________________________________________________
collaboratively and, occassionally, compromise.

In short, I believe I am the most qualified candidate to effectively represent the people of Ohio's 76th House District.
