Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. Upcoming Sunday Morning Schedule Change Grace UMC will change its Sunday morning schedule beginning June 1st! On that Sunday we will begin having our Contemporary Service at 9:00 am, Sunday School at 10:05 am, and the Traditional Service at 11:00 am. We know that fellowship and transition time between services and Sunday School is important, so we are planning for our Contemporary Service to end around 9:50 each week and for Sunday School to end at 10:50. This keeps the Sunday School time at 45 minutes and gives us 10 minutes of transition time in between. We pray that this will be adequate time for folks to move from one element to the next on Sundays. Please join us in prayer as God leads us in this exciting time in the life of Grace UMC!

Senior Sunday May 18th will be the Sunday we recognize our graduates. The day is packed with a breakfast at 7:30 am, recognition during 10:45 worship, and laser tag that night. Students who need a ride to the Spectactacle laser tag place can meet us at the church at 4:30 that Sunday. Students are welcome to meet us there. We will be back in the Grace parking lot by 7:15 pm. Laser tag is $15 a person, with no charge to our seniors. Soulstock The Soulstock Concert at Point Mallard is Saturday, May 17 th. We will leave the church at 5:30 pm that afternoon, and will return by 10:30 pm. The closing bands this year are Sanctus Real and Building 429, and the speaker is Chette Williams. The concert is free, but students will need cash for drinks and snacks from the vendors and extra if they want merchandise from the bands. Orange Our first Orange series begins Sunday, May 11th, for Sunday school only. The series is titled Let it Go and will explore some of the ways students can overcome stress and worry, as well as grudges and hard feelings in their lives. The idea is to engage our students in every aspect of their day with the lessons of the curriculum. This is our test run into the Orange Strategy, and Adam will be asking for feedback from the students as well as parents. Please feel free to contact him about any aspect of the Orange Strategy or the Let it Go series.
