-----------------------------------------PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY---------------------------------------
As an undergraduate student, I do not have a vast amount of experience in veterinary
medicine just yet. I do however currently volunteer at a spay and neuter clinic where I
have gained some introductory knowledge to veterinary medicine. I have also taken a few
Animal and Veterinary Science classes at my university, and I will continue to take more
until I receive my bachelor's degree. Of these AVS classes, a couple included the
electives Companion Animal Diseases and Practices/Principles of Dairy Science. Both of
these classes are not required for my degree but taught me some of what there is to be
known in the veterinary medicine field. A local veterinarian taught the Companion Animal
Diseases course and so I was able to see and learn from real life cases.
