Suzanne Kite

Los Angeles, CA | suzannekite@alum.calarts.edu

Suzanne Kite, aka Kite, is an artist, performer, violinist, composer, and producer from Southern California
who produces club friendly electro ambience. Kite's work includes electronic productions, arrangements for
big bands & large ensembles, sound sculpture, gallery installation, text scores, lm scores, and video
compositions. Kite has performed on various albums for hip-hop producers, rock bands, and folk groups.
Kite is heavily inuenced by the works of Jorge Luis Borges, Francois Jullien & Rudy Rucker. Recently, Kite
has been developing video & sound installations, and has developed an hour-long production called omega,
an hour long exploration of that which cannot be accessed, and therefore cannot be sorted in our
perception. Kite's debut album is performed solo with two computers, violin, voice, dance, & video feed. The
album explores how the human experience is pervaded by an overwhelming and intangible strangeness, a
faint disconnection from the inaccessible.
