Year two
You will attend an experiential group which studies group life as it evolves. There will be
opportunities to experience the beginning of a groups life, how group processes
develop, how roles are taken up, how issues of authority and leadership are negotiated
and how a group copes with breaks and ending. You will participate as an observer of
the group, attempting to understand the conscious and unconscious dynamics which
influence it.
Year three
You will research and write your Masters dissertation. You will be supported by a weekly
seminar in the first term, to discuss your ideas and prepare a proposed outline of your
