* Ultrez 20 Polymer provides exceptional clarity in this antibacterial hand gel. The system provides light cushiony feel. This formula can be
modified with a variety of conditioning agents without impacting clarity when used at <0.5 wt%.

NOTE: It is recommended to keep Alcohol levels below 59% to
include Triclosan as an antimicrobial Agent

COMMENTS:
1. Due to the alcohol in this formulation, follow safety precautions
appropriate for the handling of flammable liquids.
2. Antibacterial and hand sanitizing products may be regulated as
drug products. Review your countrys regulations to insure
compliance.

Procedure:
1. PART A: Sprinkle Carbopol

* Ultrez 20 Polymer on the surface of


Deionized Water. Allow about 10 minutes for polymer to wet.
2. PART B: In a separate vessel, mix Triclosan with Alcohol.
3. Add PART B to PART A with medium agitation. Mix until uniform.
4. Add Glycerin and Triethanolamine to batch with mixing.
5. Increase mixing speed as product thickens until clear and
homogenous.
