The Hidden Power of Your Words
Chapter 1
1 Speech: Man's Unique ift
od has deposited in you the ability to release
dynamite-filled, power-pac7ed capsules of
e"pression that we call @words.@

the breath of life* and #an beca#e a li'in% soul!
A<enesis 2:6B.
!#er since that moment, man7ind has been able to
e"press their nature, perception, heart, desire, #ision, and
plans through words.
:hese words are ali#e, and there is not one person who
does not ha#e the ability to use words, unless he or she is
physically impaired.
?ords will cause you either to 1o hi1her or to drown
deeper. For e"ample, if you>re shipwrec7ed in the ocean,
and you see a ship, you can either call out for a lifesa#er or
an anchor. ?hate#er you as7 for will be what you 1et. *f

*n this third chapter of Eames, the ton1ue is li7ened to
the bit we put in horses> mouths, to the helms that 1uide

fires. &et>s e"amine these three thin1s.
First of all, a lar1e ship is tossed by winds and buffeted
by storms. ,e#ertheless, it doesn>t matter how stron1 the
wind is, or how fierce the stormH if you 7now how to use
the rudder, you can steer that ship in the ri1ht direction, to
